MC-60/90 Mobile Cobot product line with the latest Omron TM5S and TM7S cobots now available from Dimalog, delivering improved payload, speed and safety.
Mobile Cobots, also known as Mobile Manipulators or Compound Robots, combine an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with a collaborative robot arm and integrated machine vision into a single system. The result is a versatile platform that moves autonomously between workstations, performs tasks such as picking, placing and inspection, and transports material simultaneously. Unlike fixed-position robots, a single Mobile Manipulator can serve multiple work areas within a facility, adapting to changing production needs without infrastructure modifications.
The new generation TM5S/7S cobots offer payloads of 5/7 kg and reach of 900/700 mm, respectively. Both feature IP65-rated robot arms with ISO Class 3 cleanroom certification and 31 TUV-certified safety functions. The LD-90 platform navigates using natural feature recognition at speeds up to 1.35 m/s, carrying a maximum payload of 90 kg.
Each unit includes Dimalog’s integration module with an Omron NX-102 machine controller, NX-SL3300 safety controller, vertically scanning side lasers, blue LED driving light and industrial 4G LTE Wi-Fi router. Safety logic prevents simultaneous movement of the mobile platform and the cobot arm. Optional accessories include electrical grippers, rear LIDAR for 360-degree object detection, wireless charging and Omron Fleet Management Server.
Typical use cases include laboratory workflow automation, semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, assembly line machine tending, quality inspection, and light-goods logistics. Delivered fully assembled and CE-marked. Custom configurations available on request.
